The Coleambally Community Club will play host to a beginner's yoga course over the October long weekend which aims to draw in people of all ages to learn the delicate art of yoga.
Organiser of the event Jenny Gardiner said the idea for the course came after a number of parents approached her asking if there was a class they could take with their daughters.
The initial response was so strong Mrs Gardiner had to shift the class out of her home yoga studio and to a bigger space in Coleambally.
"Straight away there have been several mums who just jumped at it," she said.
Simplicity will be the key feature for the event, with gentle yoga poses, meditation and relaxing breathing techniques on the agenda as the course aims to ease children and adults alike into the discipline.
"I have been talking to kids to access the right terminology," Mrs Gardiner said.
"[It's] clear, precise stuff they'll be able to understand."

Mrs Gardiner said yoga can provide a relaxing detour from the anxieties and stresses faced by members of the community.
"Life is so busy now," she said.
"Even our children's lives are busy and full of iPad games and TV.
"Yoga is the complete opposite."
Mrs Gardiner said proceeds from the event will go to the purchasing of new yoga belts and any funds left over will be donated to Coleambally Can Assist.
The course is open to anyone above the age of eight, with attending children requiring parental supervision.
The course will run from 10am to 11:30am on Thursday October 3 and Friday October 4.
Booking is required for the event, with the price set at $15 per day for adults and $5 per day for children.
Those interested in undertaking the course can make a booking or get more information by contacting Mrs Gardiner on 0427 746 124.
