The par three proves difficult for most competitors, but Undy managed to finish it "no worries" with his first-ever hole-in-one.

"I tee'd-off pretty sweet and the rest is history," Undy said.

"I was pretty stoked, it's something you play the game for and hope to achieve, but I never thought I would've cracked it."

Undy was competing in the Caltex Fives when his golden swing found its way onto the scoresheet.

His partner for the afternoon was his fiancée, who couldn't believe what she'd just seen.

"I took Taliah out for a spin, she's been trying to get into golf lately," Undy said.

"When she saw the hit, she said I guarantee it's in the hole, but I said no, it can't be.

"But when we approached it, she pulled it out, a hole-in-one."

Undy played the back nine at Griffith Golf Course, in which, the 16^th features tee-off in a westerly direction.

This added a large amount of mid-afternoon glare to the concoction of elements aiming to halt the impossible, but Undy prevailed despite nature's best efforts.

"It felt unreal, it kind of stunned me at first," Undy explained.

"It was just such a great feeling."

Now, Undy hopes to recreate his moment of magic next weekend, and maybe the weekend after that.
