The centre has seen a much-needed water tank installed, with a new white front fence also added while existing fences have been painted and wings on jumps have been upgraded.
The upgrade came as a result of a $6600 grant awarded to the Coleambally Pony Club by Murrumbidgee Council as part of the state government's Stronger Communities Program.
Coleambally Pony Club president and chief instructor Gail Habermann said while the upgrade is not yet finished, the upgrades will allow the centre to meet health and safety standards.
"We have achieved so much in upgrading the ground and equipment and making sure it complies with WHS regulations," she said.
"It is now a very attractive ground for riders and spectators alike ... the upgrade will also benefit adult riders as the Riverina Equestrian Association's Coleambally club uses the centre as well."

The upgrade was installed in collaboration with community service workers and Murrumbidgee mayor Ruth McRae said the program was a "win-win for everyone" and shows the club's commitment to improving the facilities.
"The collaboration with the community services workers is a great initiative," Councillor McRae said.
Mrs Habermann said the assistance of the community service workers was helpful to get the work completed and the improvements will help bolster the work the club is doing in the arena.
"I sincerely thank the workers for their commitment and high standard of work," Mrs Habermann said.
"We are very proud that over the years that a lot of our riders have been selected to ride at state level ... our riding clinics run by Olympic coaches have attracted riders throughout NSW and Victoria."
The club has been based at the centre since March 1975 and saw strong success in 2019, with Lucy Bramley selected to ride at the State Pony Club One Day Event and Riley Wyman compete at the State Show Jumping competition as well as claiming the champion boy rider title at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
The upgrade is one of a number of revamps funded through the state's funding program, with upgrades for the Coleambally Tennis Club also earmarked under the program.
